Since 1998, our entertainers have performed at over 600 events. We’re proud to be awarded the 2002 “DJ of the Year Award” for performance excellence and outstanding customer service. In this ever growing industry, we are proud to be one of the Twin Cities fastest growing entertainment companies. Soundwave Music offers premium disc jockey entertainment; providing a higher caliber sound & nightclub quality light show for the Twin Cities. We believe in providing a higher standard in mobile entertainment.

Our Music

Soundwave Music uses 100% Digital CD sound. No mp3 players here. Twice the bit rate of mp3 files, cd’s still provide a higher quality sound. We think that a DJ should be the one mixing music, not a computer or mp3 player. With over 10,000 songs, if it’s on cd we most likely have it or can get it. We have every genre of music ranging from the 1930’s all the way to today’s current hits.

Our Sound

We are proud to be using industry leading Mackie® and JBL® pro audio equipment. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering for 50 guests or a huge celebration for 750 guests we can accommodate you and your guests with a rich and inviting sound that is never overbearing. All our equipment is carefully maintained. Backup equipment and personnel is available in the unlikely hood of any equipment problems.

Our Lighting

Not all light shows are created equally!! An impressive light show will add a new dimension of fun & excitement to your event. We utilize Martin® intelligent lighting effects that will fill the dance floor with colorful shapes and patterns in sync with the music. From the traditional mirror ball to our professional laser show, our light show is one of the best in the Twin Cities. Rest assured, our computerized light show is sure to impress your guests.

Our Disc Jockeys

No element is more crucial to the success of your event than your disc jockey. SoundWave Music is happy to be working with some of the best talent around. Our experienced DJ ’s are talented entertainers with no less than 5 years in the entertainment industry. Most have 9 or more years experience. Our DJ’s are trained to get your party going and keep it going. We offer fun new dances exclusive to SoundWave Music along with the traditional favorites. Our well rounded entertainers are passionate about making your party an overwhelming success.
